Rex is rolling all over the place. He was sitting on the floor playing near the right side of the couch. Corey and I sat down to eat then Corey looked up and realized he apparently rolled from the right side of the couch to the left side, and then some! (All on the floor, not on the couch!) All of a sudden he was laying there on the floor out of nowhere! It was pretty funny! Too bad we didn't see it, I would've loved to get it on video. I'm sure it will happen again. He's working on crawling...He's trying to pull his legs up but it's still tough for him. Maybe in the next couple of weeks he'll get moving.
I went shopping today to get some clothes for work and took Rex to stay with Ms. Anna. He was so excited to see Ms. Anna! He was all smiles when he saw her and his little friends. Words can't explain what a good feeling that is when you drop of your child KNOWING without any doubt in your mind that he will be well taken care of. You can't put a price on that. We're very blessed to be able to have him with Ms. Anna. She's going to help me make a little Mexican out of Rex Robinson! I'm hoping he will learn at least some Spanish being with her. I told her she could speak as much Spanish as she wants with him then we'll speak English at home.
Found out yesterday I will be in one of the larger science rooms in the science wing at school. I'm so so excited! Then I found out we're going to have some sort of star theme at school this year and I got even more excited because I want to have a Start Student board! Moments like this make me realize I really did find my calling and I am a true blue dorky teacher! Ashley and I are going to go take a peek at the size of our rooms tomorrow then go shopping to fill it up with stuff. Yay for shopping!
